The digital pre-press operation is consistently geared towards high throughput and accurate, reliable working. Before we receive the initial information for the order, a comprehensive colour management operation has normally taken place in which we have used the litho facility to create the conditions for optimal printing results. In the colour management field, colour proofs can be produced and calibrated in accordance with the processing standard using offset printing.

The production process uses 4 Lüscher platesetters. The setting of the plates in the platesetter is fully automated. This ensures that the plates are always evenly exposed. An 8-page plate takes just 1 minute for complete exposure. Only in this way can a throughput of up to 1,150 plates per day be achieved.
